Prince Prince is threatening to sue some his biggest fans for breach of copyright. Three of the stars largest fan sites – Princefams.com, Prince.org and Housequake.com – have been instructed to remove all photographs, lyrics, album covers and images from their pages. The move has prompted the formation of Prince Fans United – a coalition set up to fight against this new legal action.

- Roseanne Cash, the eldest of Johnny Cash's children, has announced she is to undergo brain surgery for a "rare but benign condition". Her November tour dates have been cancelled, but the 52-year old country star is expected to make a full recovery, resuming touring early next year.

- The White Stripes have announced that they've recorded three brand new songs, as well as an "exciting", as-yet-unseen video. Jack and Meg have hinted that they have collaborated with a special guest on one of the tracks. Could it be Jack's recent live cohort Mr B Dylan? Stay tuned to MOJO for more info.
