New York's Beacon Theatre will play host to a glittering array of Bob Dylan acolytes on November 7, as the likes of Cat Power, My Morning Jacket and Mason Jennings line-up to celebrate the release of Todd Haynes’ post-modern Bob biopic, I’m Not There. The majority of the acts booked have contributed to the excellent double-disc soundtrack. It may be called I’m Not There, but when it comes to honouring Dylan, musicians are still falling over themselves to be in attendance.

- Super Furry Animals frontman, Gruff Rhys, will release a new album in February. Teaming up with solo artist Boom Bip, the duo will record under the name Neon Neon. The album, Stainless Style, will feature  contributions from The Strokes, The Magic Numbers and Har Mar Superstar. The record will be preceded by a single, Raquel, on November 26.

- Here for your Friday viewing pleasure is the first part of the lost Rolling Stones documentary, Charlie Is My Darling. Shot during the band's Irish tour of 1965, Peter Whitehead's film only received a minor release the following year before disappearing from view.
