12_3 London's premier punk warriors, Wire are to release Read & Burn 3 on November 12. The 25-minute, four track mini-album is the first new collection of material to appear since 2003's Send.

In support of their new retrospective DVD, Amazing Journey: The Story Of The Who, Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey will be attending a special Q&A session following the movie's London premiere on November 6. For more information head over to www.thewhomovie.com.

U2 are to reissue their globe conquering LP The Joshua Tree later this year to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the album's original release. The record will be available as a single CD, Double CD, DVD set and special edition vinyl. The accompanying DVD will feature the documentary, Outside It's America alongside live footage from the band’s 1987 Paris Hippodrome show.

That hirsute purveyor of paisley folk ditties, Devendra Barhart, has announced two new UK shows. He'll play St. George's Church in Brighton on November 5, before hitting the London Forum the following evening. Tickets are on sale now.
